如何處理你的血糖
血糖是血中所含的糖份「指葡萄糖」的一個指標。檢測血糖的單位為 millimoles per litre (mmol/L) ,即指每一公升血的血糖定量。
一般人仕當進餐時,同時攝取相當分量的碳水化合物[Carbohydrates] 、蛋白質[Proteins] 、脂肪質[Fats]、維生素[Vitamins] 、礦物質[Minerals] 及水份[Water]。碳水化合物為糖份或葡萄糖份的來源。當身體需要能量時,血液中的葡萄糖自然經過燃燒分解。如果多餘的糖份未能如期地被細胞吸收或及早儲藏於肝臟,血中的糖份自然就提高了。這個時間多餘的糖份就會從小便排出來了,這就是糖尿現象。如果空腹的血糖低於6.1 mmol/L 或110 mg/dL,便稱為正常血糖值。
如果血糖值超出於正常值的話,俗稱為高血糖,醫生會為病人驗血及驗小便,作詳細檢查。糖尿病大致分為I型、II型及妊娠型。如果血糖繼續持久地升高的話,醫生會建議病人服藥或打胰島素針藥來控制病情。

1. 注意日常飲食 [Diet] :首先了解每種食物的 GI值。GI值英文名稱為 Glycemic Index。 GI值是以食用純葡萄糖[Pure Glucose] 100公克後二小時內的增加值為基準 [GI值設定為 100] 從這統計,營養師建議病人多吃GI值低的食物,少吃GI值高的食物。請参考以下圖表甲。{付上圖表甲只作參考而己、如有任何問题,請向你私人家庭醫生查詢}。
